Universal Studios- Harry Potter World

“I solemnly swear that I am up to no good!”

I RARELY do this on my blog, but here is a completely non-horse related post. I am a huge Harry Potter nerd, and I finally got to go to Universal Studios in Orlando, FL last weekend with my hubby and my family. In case any of you are as big of Potter nerds as I am, enjoy the photos and videos! (The vimeos are my snap stories from the 2 days, so a mix of photos and videos)

  1. I love harry potter and would like to go there but I’m afraid of the annoying children ratio. How was it? I actually didn’t see many kids in your video. I get really freaked out when kids are around, especially little ones with no boundaries who touch me, eeek! When we were in Monterey in January all these snot covered and sneezing kids kept walking up and touching my legs and I was freaking out! I do assume there wouldn’t be kids as young there due to the subject matter but still concerned.

    1. I do not like large crowds, and I don’t particularly enjoy stranger children. That being said- it wasn’t bad at all! It was crowded in some of the shops, but not too bad. The kids that were there seemed well attended to by their parents, and I actually found their wizard cloaks and wands kind of endearing. If I were you I would look up the “slowest” times and go then. I think I read that February during the week, and 2nd half of April on the week days that the park is basically dead. That would help with the crowd/kid ratio!

  2. I am not big in to crowds or theme parks but that is definitely one place I would LOVE to go. Children don’t bother me so much, but I am a teacher so I tend to correct them in public, which annoys my hubby. LOL

    1. HAHA! I don’t love kids but they really didn’t bother me, which was kind of weird. I guess I was too busy looking at all things Potter!

    1. Seriously- do it! It’s so worth it. You can see it all in one day FYI, we did 2 days but that was definitely overkill
